Participate in the Dentons Purple Art Contest
As part of the Art Gallery of Alberta’s Annual Giving Campaign to support AGA education programs and exhibitions, our sponsor Dentons is giving emerging and student artists a chance to win up to $500 in prize money!
Here’s how:
- Create art using the colour purple. It can be a painting, sculpture or other medium.
- By Sunday, November 14, email purpleart.alberta@dentons.com with:
- A photo of your artwork.
- A description/story about your piece and if you are a student, what grade you are in.
- A signed waiver from your legal guardian(s). Contact marketing@youraga.ca for a copy.
- November 22-25: The shortlisted artists/works will be announced at youraga.ca and the public will vote to select the winner
- November 25 by 4pm: Drop off your artwork at the Art Gallery of Alberta
- The shortlisted artworks will be displayed at the AGA
