Our Gallery, Our Story: Rick's Story
Rick Arndt’s story with the AGA began over 15 years ago when he volunteered as the Project Director for the construction of our new building. Since the opening of the new AGA in 2010, Rick and his wife, Shannon, have remained long-time supporters; actively involving themselves to ensure the Gallery’s financial support. Their contributions have played an integral role in shaping the AGA’s legacy and success. Rick has spent over 40 years as an architect, leading the development of multiple award-winning architectural projects across Alberta and western Canada.
Annual Giving Campaign Challenge Match
This season, Rick has made a match challenge donation to encourage members of the community to include the AGA in their year-end giving plans for 2022. As an architect, Rick understands the importance of a strong foundation. That’s why he has pledged to match, dollar for dollar, each donation received for the AGA’s Annual Giving Campaign by December 31st, up to a value of his $10,000 pledge. This means your gift to the AGA will go twice as far this season. The donations contributed to this year’s campaign will go a long way to help cement a solid foundation for the youth in the Alberta arts community.
Support from our community directly impacts our ability to provide education and programming at the Gallery, empowers local artists, enhances our exhibitions and ensures our iconic gallery can be maintained and preserved for our province for years to come.
Can we count on your support to maximize Rick’s match for our campaign?
