The Great Art Treasure Hunt (ages 6-8)
Ahoy mateys! Cast yer eyes on the treasure trove of artwork in our galleries and discover the hidden gems and surprising artworks that make our collection unique. In the studio, leap into action with treasure-hunting-inspired games, map making, painting, geo-caching, assemblage, and more! Parrots are optional!
Art Collectors (ages 9-12)
What do Pokémon cards, stickers and art have in common? They are collections of course!! In this session, we investigate the art of collecting and the collecting of art! Visit current exhibitions and peek at some of the AGA’s vast collection (we own 6000+ art objects!). In the studio, make art inspired by various collections, including painting, sculpture and installation. Finish off with artist trading cards, buttons and stickers to keep and trade.

Meet expert artists and curators to learn how exhibitions are created and displayed in this introduction to curation for teens. Make art and develop your skills in exhibition design before working collaboratively to launch an exhibition in our TD Education Gallery.
