Seniors' Tour | fire's burning

Information

  • Date

    June 27, 2025
  • Time

    2-3pm

Join Alaynee Goodwill-Littlechild, the AGA’s TD Curator for Indigenous Creativity, as she guides you through our newest exhibition, fire’s burning. Featuring artworks from our collection, this exhibition explores our varied and nuanced relationship to fire. Unpredictable and destructive, an out-of-control fire can have far reaching impacts on our lives. At the same time, we also experience this powerful element as a tool for survival, creation and communication. Listen as Alaynee offers a unique perspective to the art of fire.

This tour is for self-identified seniors and is free with admission. Capacity for the event is 30 so reserve your tickets early.

Accessibility notes: We have a whisper audio guide system with headsets available. These wearable transmitters allow visitors to listen to the tour guide without straining to hear or being distracted by ambient noise in the galleries. If you pause to contemplate an artwork longer, you won’t miss what the tour guide says next.
