This exhibition brings together artworks created by two artists, Aaron Harvey and Boyd Dymchuk, who are members of the Nina Haggerty artist collective. To create this exhibition, they worked both independently and collaboratively. Sometimes Harvey’s drawings and paintings were inspired by Dymchuk’s ceramic sculptures, sometimes Dymchuk’s sculptures were modeled after Harvey’s drawings and some works were made together.
These artists have created the Wavy Dimension as a mythical world with unique creatures. Life in the Wavy Dimension is full of fun of animals. Some of the animals are recognizable but you’ve never seen them quite like this before. Funky trees, cactuses and clouds create an environment that is like an oasis and refuge away from the everyday world. When you come to the Wavy Dimension you will find an alternate dimension filled with waves of joy, love and imagination.

The RBC New Works Gallery features new artworks by Alberta artists and continues the Art Gallery of Alberta’s tradition of supporting and promoting Alberta artists.
